The terminals and corresponding parking lots are divided into four color-coded sections. The green quadrant contains Terminals 1, 2 and 3; the blue quadrant Terminals 4E and 4W; the orange quadrant Terminals 5, 6 and 7 and the red quadrant Terminals 8 and 9. This information is also posted on large color-coded signs on the approach to the central terminal area on both the Van Wyck and JFK Expressways. There is a huge range of shops, restaurants, snack bars and service kiosks in each of the terminals at JFK International. Location maps are prominently displayed and for those wishing to visit a business in another terminal, the red, white and blue bus service connects all of them.
